First, I will explain there wasn't defect device in TI. The differnce between device is based on the performance level. For your description about OPA2132 and OPA2134, OPA2134 is design especially in Audio appilication. However, OPA2132 is ideal for general-purpose, audio, data acquisition and communications applications, especially where high source impedance is encountered. That's why OPA2132 is more expensive.
Besides, as for OPA2604 andOPA2134 in proconsumer application:- Please use OPA2604 - it has a slew rate at 25V/usec however the price performance is more expensive. Thus using inverting amp and intergrator for summation is a good application. For OPA2134 - it is meant for general consumer application - thus it has a slew rate at 20V/usec sufficient for the correct bandwidth performance at 20KHz.
The difference between the OPA2132P and OPA2132PA can be found on page 2 of the datasheet. The 'A' represents the performance grade of the part. 'A' has a tighter spec than the other which makes it a higher performance. The OPA2132P is active and recommended for new designs. The OPA2132PA is active but referenced as low volume.
Summary, OPA2132 is best for many application. OPA2604 is better than OPA2134 in Audio application. It all depends on your cost and performance consideration. Hope it answer your question clear. |
